Coco Gauff kicks off her 2025 season in fine style at the United Cup, already victorious over Leylah Fernandez last Saturday, this Tuesday defeating Donna Vekic 6-4, 6-2.
In a post-match interview, she was asked about her resolutions for 2025. The American replied: "I've stopped making New Year's resolutions. It works for two weeks and then I stop following them.

I just want to do better than last year. Four days ago, I said I'd use my cell phone less.
I'm a typical Generation Z phone person. But I'll try to read more books this year. In 2024, I must have read 16. I'll try to get to 22 this year."
