Coco Gauff overcame Mirra Andreeva this Wednesday (6-4, 7-6) to advance to the semifinals in Rome.

The world No. 2 now leads 4-0 in head-to-head matches against the young Russian, but her focus is firmly on her semifinal, where she could face a rematch of the Madrid final against Aryna Sabalenka:

"It will be a tough match no matter which player (Sabalenka or Zheng) I face. Obviously, I’d like to play Aryna to get revenge for Madrid. But Qinwen is also a formidable player. In the end, I don’t really have a preference—it’s going to be a challenging match either way."

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
