Ugo Humbert, world No. 21, suffered a bad fall on Thursday during his second-round match against Jacob Fearnley at Roland-Garros.
The Frenchman collapsed in pain after hitting a backhand and attempted to resume play after a medical timeout. Unable to continue properly, he ultimately threw in the towel.
Two days later, Humbert received positive news from the MRI scan he underwent.
As reported by *L’Équipe*, last year’s Paris-Bercy finalist has no leg injury, allowing him to compete in the grass-court season without physical setbacks.
He will return to competition at the 's-Hertogenbosch tournament (June 9–15), followed by Halle the following week to finalize his preparation for Wimbledon.
