Halys, Borges, and Tabilo Withdraw After Draw in Munich
Just as the main draw was finalized in Bavaria, two players have ultimately withdrawn from the Munich tournament. Quentin Halys and Alejandro Tabilo will not take part in the Munich event, which this year marks its promotion to an ATP 500 tournament.
As a result, three players who lost in the final round of qualifying will be granted entry into the main draw. Notably, Alejandro Tabilo was scheduled to face Daniel Altmaier, with a potential second-round match against Alexander Zverev.
Meanwhile, Quentin Halys was set to play against Zizou Bergs, while Nuno Borges, at the very bottom of the draw, was supposed to challenge Roberto Bautista Agut. The three lucky losers are expected to be announced on Saturday before the first round begins early next week.
