He destroyed a large part of my life, Ivanisevic's strong words about Sampras

Goran Ivanisevic, who is very active in the media, recently gave an interview to the outlet Sportal.

The Croatian, who won Wimbledon in 2001, spoke about his career and mentioned one of the players who caused him the most suffering: Pete Sampras.

Before Ivanisevic raised his arms in victory at Wimbledon, the American had already denied him the title twice, in 1994 and 1998, and had also defeated him in the semifinals in 1995.

Ivanisevic didn’t mince words when talking about his former rival: "Sampras destroyed a large part of my life, my dreams, my hopes, my energy. I can’t forgive him for that.
