"He has everyone's signature except mine," Djokovic jokes about his son
During a press conference, Djokovic commented on the cap full of signatures that his son wore during his match against De Minaur at Wimbledon. With humor, the Serb spoke about the personality of his soon-to-be 11-year-old son:
"Actually, most of them—he approached them on his own, independently of me, and asked for their autographs. I might have asked Jannik or someone else, but he approached all the others. He even got the chance to hit with Cobolli, my next opponent.
They met a few days ago and played a few points. He was over the moon. Of course, I asked him if he took any notes for my next match (laughs). As for the signatures, he has everyone's except mine, but that's okay—I accept it (laughs)."
Indeed, Djokovic will face Cobolli for a spot in the semifinals. The Italian has been the surprise of the tournament, reaching his first career quarterfinal.
