Jannik Sinner defeated Arthur Rinderknech in three sets in his Roland-Garros debut on Monday.
After his victory, the world No. 1 went towards the plaque honoring Rafael Nadal and his fourteen victories on the Philippe-Chatrier court, expressing these words of admiration:
