I hope to one day have this kind of farewell from tennis," says Djokovic about the end of his career
Novak Djokovic appeared yesterday at the tribute to Rafael Nadal at Roland-Garros as the last active member of the Big 4.
The Serbian admitted that the ceremony, which he greatly appreciated, made him reflect on his future:
"Seeing what happened with Rafa made me think about the end of my career. Talking to Roger and Andy about their farewells also... I'm proud to still be here, but also sad that they are gone.
They were my greatest motivation and the reason why I have been competitive for so long.
Rafa deserved this tribute. I hope to one day have this kind of farewell from the tennis world. If you want to know when I will retire, I haven’t thought about the exact date yet.
