Humbert explains his handshake with Bublik and his run to the toilet
Ugo Humbert defeated Alexander Bublik on Wednesday at the ATP 250 Marseille. Unfortunately for him, the second set was no picnic.
The Frenchman had stomach problems. He explains: "I was under pressure because I wasn't feeling very well.
I'm going to see the doctor and get some rest. I'll just have to deal with it. I made the mistake of not going to the toilet at the end of the first set.
By the end of the match, I couldn't move at all... I tried to hold on and in the end, my body gave out on me when I was serving."
He faces Lorenzo Sonego in the quarter-finals this Friday.
