Humbert opens up about his hand injury: "I'm only at 50% of my potential"

Ugo Humbert suffered a fracture in his right hand last week, which severely hampered him in Monte-Carlo (eliminated in his opening match) and this week in Munich, where he was defeated in the second round by Fabian Marozsan.
In comments reported by *L’Équipe*, the French No. 2 spoke about this injury, which will prevent him from playing at his best level in the coming weeks:
"I'm only at 50% of my potential. I’m missing one of my best shots, my backhand. I’m trying to manage, but it’s far from easy.
Right now, my goal is to maintain match rhythm. I have no expectations in terms of results. My hope is to get back to 100% as soon as possible. [...]
I still have three to four weeks to go. I wear the splint all the time. In the end, I’m very limited, especially with my backhand and serve, particularly the ball toss.
It was already incredible to win my first-round match here in Munich. I was lucky that my opponent (Nicolas Jarry) made tactical mistakes. But it’s really tough. I’m making too many errors on my backhand, and I can’t be aggressive against my opponent."
