I don't see her on fire. She masters what she does," Simon praises Boisson
Gilles Simon spoke to Tennis Actu and notably discussed Loïs Boisson. For him, even though she’s delivering an incredible performance, she isn’t overplaying.
He explains: "Loïs is pleasant to watch play. She stays true to her style. In my opinion, she’ll be able to adapt to other surfaces. When I watch her play, I don’t see her on fire.
What she does is what she masters. The fact that she started far back in the rankings means she’s proving herself in weaker tournaments, so we wonder how far she can go.
And today, we realize she can go all the way… almost to the very top, meaning Pegula.
She’ll realize the striking quality of Mirra (Andreeva). If that’s not enough, she’ll finally have benchmarks against a player stronger than Pegula, even though Pegula is higher-ranked. My feeling is that Mirra is stronger.
