Alexander Zverev is gaining a reputation as one of the tour's biggest complainers. The latest news concerns the playing conditions at the Rolex Paris Masters, although he is not the first to be critical of them.
He told Eurosport: "I don't want to seem like the one who complains every week, but I find the surface here quite strange. It's very slow and the ball bounces very little. It's hard to hit good shots.
Even when you hit a good shot, you feel like you're not rewarded for it. If you hit hard with spin, the ball stays low. If you hit hard, the ball loses speed."
Zverev will face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina this Thursday around 8:30 PM, French time.
