I have never beaten him yet, it will be very difficult, Sinner discusses his upcoming match against Auger-Aliassime

Jannik Sinner will face Felix Auger-Aliassime this Thursday in the quarterfinals of Cincinnati.

The two have faced each other twice before, in Cincinnati and Madrid in 2022. The Canadian won both encounters.

In a press conference, Sinner spoke about the match: "I haven’t beaten Auger-Aliassime yet. We had a very tough match in Cincinnati in 2022.

It was a great match. He has a lot of potential. It will be very difficult to beat him, but to be honest, I’m looking forward to facing him. I love these challenges, and I hope to bring my best. If I want to beat him, I’ll have to play my best tennis."

The match will take place around 9 p.m. French time.
