"I have no regrets," Keys says she's satisfied despite her loss to Gauff
Madison spoke after her defeat against her compatriot Coco Gauff in the Roland-Garros quarterfinals. Although she lost, she expressed satisfaction with her tournament and her clay-court season overall.
She stated: "I have no regrets. I think I took more risks because, with the covered court, the conditions were slower.
I made more errors than necessary, and Cori played a great match. I have many reasons to be proud of myself; I take away a positive outlook from my clay-court journey."
A winner of the Australian Open and a Roland-Garros quarterfinalist in 2025, Keys can hold high hopes for Wimbledon.
