"I have to be 110% ready": Hurkacz ends his 2025 season

Plagued by injuries, the world No. 69 has chosen to turn the page to better prepare for 2026. A significant decision, explained in a powerful message to his fans.
Absent from the tour since June and a first-round defeat at the ATP 250 in 's-Hertogenbosch, Hubert Hurkacz is drawing a line under his 2025 season.
Having undergone knee surgery after Wimbledon and also struggling with back issues, the Polish player announced on his social media that he already intends to prepare for the 2026 season.
"I'm feeling well, everything is going as planned and in a positive way. I'm working every day with my team at the gym and on the court with my physiotherapist.
With the goal of returning to tournaments and competing at the highest level, I have to be 110% ready. That's why the best decision is to resume next season to be completely prepared to fight," the player announced on his social media.
