I want to go further in the big events": Jack Draper sets his goals for 2026
Jack Draper will soon return to competition after a forced break. Between frustration, motivation, and a vision focused on 2026, the Briton has set a major goal: to be among those who will finally manage to counter the hegemony of the two monsters of current tennis.
After a very strong first half of the 2025 season (title at Indian Wells, final in Madrid), Jack Draper saw his progress come to a sudden halt due to a left arm injury, forcing him to end his year as early as September.
The Briton, who had broken into the top 5, will gradually return to competition with the UTS in December and then the United Cup in January.
Before making his return to the court, Draper gave an interview to Tennis Majors, in which he reveals his ambitions for 2026:
"I would like to go beyond the semi-finals in Grand Slams, return to the top 10, and win more 250 and 500 tournaments.
I want to become more consistent in the big events and go further. Alcaraz and Sinner are very far ahead. Now, it's up to the players of the new generation to challenge them and put an end to their dominance.
