I’d like to see Djokovic win one last Grand Slam, Billie Jean King shares her pick for the men's Wimbledon champion

Amid the many surprising upsets among the men's seeded players at Wimbledon, the three main favorites of the 2025 edition—Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and Novak Djokovic—have so far managed to avoid the pitfalls.

Present at the All England Club this Saturday, tennis legend Billie Jean King was interviewed by beIN Sports. She shared her pick for the men's draw:

"I still think you have to bet on Alcaraz and Sinner. They’re the best right now. This is the new generation coming through. I’ve seen generations come and go—five or six of them—so I know. […]

But I’d really like to see Djokovic win one last Grand Slam. That would be amazing. I don’t know if it’s a safe bet, but I wish it for him so he can hold the record for the most Grand Slam titles.

Not surprised that Billie Jean King would like Novak Djokovic to win another grand slam. He is now equal with the number of grand slams won by Margaret Court. Hasn't Billie Jean King always promoted women's tennis ? Why not in this case ? Why is she at Wimbledon anyway since she would like Wimbledon to abandon a tradition which goes back to the origins of tennis itself. Change dress rules, abandon the all-white dresses for coloured ones, so she can make out which player is which. Really ! I respect anyone's opinion, but this time she's crossed my line.
