Victorious at Wimbledon, Dimitrov Reaches 100 Grand Slam Wins

Dimitrov faced Ofner (165th) in the third round of Wimbledon. The two players had never met on the tour before.

Despite a tenacious opponent, Dimitrov proved to be extremely solid, defeating the Austrian in just 2 hours with a score of 6-3, 6-4, 7-6. A fan of the surface, the Bulgarian showcased an effective serve (80% of points won on first serves and 14 aces) as well as his signature hand skills.

With this result, he secured his 17th win of the season, including his 4th in the third round of Wimbledon. At 34 years old, the Bulgarian also celebrated his 100th Grand Slam victory.

Ranked 19th in the ATP, he will face world No. 1 Sinner in the tournament's round of 16.
