"If he had lost in the first round in Rome, I would have done everything wrong," Sinner's training partner during his suspension revealed

Suspended for three months, Sinner made a stunning comeback by reaching the final of the Rome Masters 1000. In an interview with Tennis Talker, Roberto Marcora, former world No. 150 and the Italian's training partner during his absence, reflected on this period:
"I went there for a few weeks, or rather a few training blocks, while he still couldn’t train at tennis clubs or with active players. Jannik and I have a good relationship, and when the news of the disqualification came out, I texted him as a joke that I’d return to the court with him.
He didn’t expect it to actually happen. I felt a bit of pressure when he came back because if he had lost in the first round in Rome… as his sparring partner, I would have done everything wrong!"
It’s worth noting that Sinner won his first Challenger title against Marcora in 2019 in Bergamo.
