"I'm clearly approaching the end of my career," announces Kyrgios
Nick Kyrgios has faced a challenging comeback since his serious wrist injury, which kept him off the tennis courts for many long months, with just one win and four matches played over five months.
However, he believes he has done what’s necessary to heal his wrist, even though he feels his retirement is near. He told the *Canberra Times*: "I don’t want to talk about retirement, but I’m confident I’ve done the work needed for my wrist to hold up.
I’m clearly approaching the end of my career. I think just playing through this injury is a bonus, whether I win or lose."
His next commitment is the doubles draw at Roland-Garros, partnering with Jordan Thompson.
