I'm on his side and I want him to win," Becker calms things down after Zverev's comments
During the Stuttgart tournament, Alexander Zverev expressed frustration in a press conference about criticism directed at him.
Among those targeted was Boris Becker, as the world No. 3 had stated: "When things are going well for me, I do everything perfectly. When things go badly, suddenly everyone becomes very smart. Unfortunately, Boris is one of them."
Two weeks later, the German champion decided to respond to Zverev's remarks: "I'm on his side. I want him to win. These are just suggestions to help him improve or advice.
I’m convinced he can become world No. 1, that he can win a Grand Slam. He is by far the best German player. That’s why I make these comments. I see the potential and the opportunities.
