Winner of his semifinal at the Bordeaux Challenger against Rinky Hijikata (7-5, 7-6), Mpetshi Perricard will face Basilashvili for the title. The Georgian defeated Griekspoor in straight sets (6-4, 6-0).
With this performance, the Frenchman appears to be following the same path as his compatriot Arthur Fils. Indeed, he broke into the top 100 after winning his first ATP title (Lyon 2024), just like his tricolor counterpart (Lyon 2023), and qualified a year later for the final of the 2025 Bordeaux tournament, just as Fils did. Additionally, both players endured a rough patch in terms of results before reaching their final in Gironde.
