Insolite - Fognini takes part in Danse avec les stars in Italy

Fabio Fognini found a rather surprising activity during the pre-season. He took part in Ballando con le stelle, the equivalent of Danse avec les stars.

After receiving a standing ovation, Fognini declared, "Dancing is a new thing that, to be honest, I've never liked because I've never practiced it."

A video message from his wife, Flavia Pennetta, also arrived: "You danced very well, I know the fear you had facing this new challenge, but when you decide to do something, you always do it to the best of your ability.

I'm proud of you, maybe next time I'll come and dance with you."

The Italian will be back on the tennis courts in January at the Australian Open.
