Tallon Griekspoor struggled but ultimately secured his spot in the semifinals of the Bordeaux Challenger by defeating Terence Atmane (7-6, 6-7, 7-5).

The Dutchman had a scare during the match, converting only two of the fourteen break points he earned, while Atmane—naturally cheered on by the French crowd—saved four match points in the second set.

Irritated by the lively atmosphere on the Bordeaux court, Griekspoor complained to the chair umpire about the behavior of the fans in the stands, as reported by edgeAI on X:
