It was one of the most historic matches we have ever seen," Djokovic shares his thoughts on the Roland-Garros final between Alcaraz and Sinner
Just days before starting his 20th Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic took the time to reflect on the epic final played by Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner at Roland-Garros.
In comments reported by the British site Express, the 24-time Grand Slam champion recounted how he ended up watching the match with his family:
"What they achieved during that final was incredible. To be honest, I was in my country. My wife wanted to watch the final, but I didn’t. During the first part of the match, we went out for lunch.
When we came back, we ended up watching the match. It was an incredible match, truly impressive. Both of them deserve praise. It was one of the most historic matches we have ever seen.
