Six French players were in contention this Thursday for the third round of Wimbledon qualifiers, played as best-of-five sets.
Adrian Mannarino and Arthur Cazaux were the first to secure their spots in the main draw with victories over Li Tu (3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4) and Dusan Lajovic (6-7, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4). Meanwhile, Valentin Royer emerged victorious in his match against fellow Frenchman Titouan Droguet (6-3, 6-4, 6-2).
However, the journey ended for Luka Pavlovic, who was defeated in four sets by Beibit Zhukayev (3-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-6), and Kyrian Jacquet, who conceded to Jaime Faria (7-5, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2).
