"It's a bit annoying because it hindered my grass preparation," Raducanu discusses her return to Queen's
Currently in London to compete in the Queen's tournament, she will face Spain's Bucsa in the first round. In an interview shared by *Tennis Up To Date*, Raducanu opened up about her grass-court preparation:
"I came back last week and went straight onto the grass. I had a minor interruption with a back spasm, which was a bit annoying and disrupted my preparation. It can be frustrating. But in the last few days, I’ve managed to get out and play on this surface.
I’m trying not to let it get me down because I have a good idea of how to handle this kind of situation. All I can do is accept what comes my way. Today was the first day I could really hit the ball. It’s a bit early, and I can’t say I’ve had much preparation, but I felt pretty good."
Last year, the Brit reached the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time in her career.
