Queen’s WTA 500 Draw: Zheng in the Draw with Raducanu and Krejcikova, Keys, Navarro, and Rybakina Set

For the first time since 1973, the Queen’s site is hosting a women's tennis tournament, with WTA 500 status.
The draw for the event took place today, offering many insights. Roland-Garros quarterfinalist Qinwen Zheng is the No. 1 seed and receives a bye. In the second round, she will face Francesca Jones or McCartney Kessler.
In the quarterfinals, she could meet Emma Raducanu, who was granted a wildcard by the organizers, or Barbora Krejcikova, last year’s Wimbledon winner. Krejcikova, who started her season last month, will face Rebecca Sramkova in the first round.
At the bottom of the draw, Madison Keys will face either Donna Vekic or a qualifier in her opening match. Diana Shnaider might face her in the quarterfinals. Among the other seeds, Elena Rybakina will start against her compatriot Yulia Putintseva or a qualifier. Emma Navarro will face the winner of the exciting match between Petra Kvitova and Beatriz Haddad Maia.
Two interesting first-round matches for British players are also worth noting: Sonay Kartal will challenge Daria Kasatkina, and Jodie Burrage will play against Amanda Anisimova.
