In an interview shared by Tennis Up To Date, nine-time Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova named her favorite for the 2025 edition of the English Grand Slam. According to her, Sabalenka has all the qualities needed to be the frontrunner for a title in London:

"Given her track record, it's hard to think she isn't the favorite this year. She's a complete player with a strong grass-court game. It's difficult to find a weakness or an opening against her. I wonder if losing the Roland-Garros final might actually motivate her further. I think she’s in a good place."

The Belarusian has reached the Wimbledon semifinals twice, in 2021 and 2023. During the previous edition, she withdrew due to a shoulder injury.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?
