Here it's not Paris, it's the grass," says Branstine, winner over Boisson at Wimbledon

Here it's not Paris, it's the grass, says Branstine, winner over Boisson at Wimbledon

Carson Branstine ended Loïs Boisson's hopes at Wimbledon in the first round of qualifying. Much more experienced than the Frenchwoman, who was playing her first official match on grass, the Canadian emphasized the differences between clay and grass.

In comments collected by L'Équipe, she says: "When I saw the draw, I admit I looked on Twitter at the reactions and what people were saying.

It's obvious, her forehand, her backhand, her style, obviously she's a clay court player, she's a beast physically, probably the fittest on the circuit, but this isn't Paris here, it's the grass, it's nothing like it.
