"It's practically impossible to find players," Atmane agrees with Humbert's statement on training with left-handers

At the end of April, during the Madrid tournament, Ugo Humbert expressed his frustrations in a press conference, upset that no players on the circuit wanted to train with him.
Hampered by a fracture of the fifth metacarpal since the UTS Nîmes a month ago, the Frenchman stated that aside from his right-hand injury, it was complicated for other players to want to train with left-handers.
"Last week in Munich, I had signed up to train with Cerundolo. But an hour before the practice, without telling me, he signed with another guy.
It drives me crazy! As a result, I played for half an hour with my physio. It's really a shark's world," the Messin declared at the time. This bitter observation was echoed in recent hours by Terence Atmane.
Aged 23, the Frenchman, who won two Challengers in Busan and Canton in recent weeks, was questioned about this in a press conference after his first-round victory at the Bordeaux Challenger against Daniel Galan (7-5, 7-5).
"It's practically impossible to find players to practice with me because I'm left-handed. I'm lucky that my coach played tennis a bit, he was ranked -2/6 and still has some skills.
The only way I can find someone is if that person is playing against a left-hander," Atmane lamented, as reported by our colleagues at Avantage Tennis.
