Ivanov, First Bulgarian to Win Wimbledon Junior Title Since Dimitrov

Ivan Ivanov won the Wimbledon junior tournament this Sunday by defeating Ronit Karki with a score of 6-2, 6-3.

Already a semifinalist at Roland-Garros, the Bulgarian confirms his strong performances in Grand Slam events.

Ivanov becomes the first Bulgarian to win Wimbledon in the junior category since Grigor Dimitrov in 2008, who had defeated Henri Kontinen at the time.

Aged 16 and ranked 6th in the world among juniors, he trains at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
