Jabeur: "I've accepted that I'm happy in my career, even if I haven't won a major tournament".

Jabeur: I've accepted that I'm happy in my career, even if I haven't won a major tournament.

Ons Jabeur made her return to the circuit in January, after a back injury that kept her off the courts for five months, preventing her from taking part in the US Open.

The Tunisian is satisfied with her level of play and happy to be back. She is looking forward to her tour of tournaments in the Gulf States.

"For me, this is certainly the most important part of the tour: three consecutive tournaments in the Middle East.

If you'd asked me a long time ago, I'd have told you it was very hard to imagine.

Even when I was I wasn't in a strong position, I always hoped to play in Doha and Dubai, and now we can add Abu Dhabi...

It's incredible for the Arab world to have more tournaments to inspire more and more of the younger generation.

It's easier said than done not to be obsessed with a Grand Slam.

Although, in life in general, if you are obsessed with something, I don't think it will ever happen to you.

I've accepted that I'm happy in my career, even if I haven't won a major tournament.

I'm happy with my career, because what I've done so far is incredible, but there's always the athlete, that champion within, to aim ever higher.

I really believe in destiny. If it's written that I'm going to win a Grand Slam, I'll do it. I work hard, so we'll see how my career ends."
