After two rounds of qualifications, with the last one being a three-set match against Italian Napolitano, Jacquet had to win his duel against Rodionov, ranked 225th in the world, to qualify for the main draw at Roland Garros.
Playing against the Austrian on court no. 7, Jacquet was not put in any difficulty throughout the match. He won in two sets (6-2, 6-2) in just over an hour of play (1h06) and thus secured his first qualification for the first round at Roland Garros at 24 years old.
This season, Jacquet has won tournaments in Chennai and New Delhi, among others, and his last Grand Slam appearance was at the 2024 US Open.
