Jeanjean Withdraws in Final Round of Rome Qualifiers

While Léolia Jeanjean was leading one set to zero against Emiliana Arango in the final round of Rome qualifiers, the French player was caught up at one set all and was forced to retire in the final set at 4-6, 7-5, 3-0.

Jeanjean will have to wait a little longer before playing her first WTA 1000 match. Her entry into the Top 100 for the first time should now only be a matter of time.
