Kvitova Wins Her First Match Since Her Return in Rome

Petra Kvitova had not won a match on the WTA tour since October 1, 2023, in Beijing.

Returning in February 2025 following her pregnancy, the Czech player secured her first victory this Tuesday in Rome, defeating Irina-Camelia Begu with a score of 7-5, 6-1 in 1 hour and 37 minutes of play.

In the next round, Kvitova will face Ons Jabeur.
