By winning the US Open in 2021, Emma Raducanu drew the spotlight to herself very early. This victory also created high expectations for her, which she has not been able to meet.

Quoted by Sky Sports, she shared her expectations for the 2025 season: "It's exciting, and it really feels like a fresh start—in my approach to things, with my team, in my mindset, and my perspective.

I’m more optimistic, quite positive about the future. I’m taking it day by day and trying to stay steady. This season, I will try to free myself from the pressure, to play more aggressively and the way I want, so that it also helps me on other surfaces."

Raducanu is competing in Rome, where she will face a qualifier in the first round.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
