Kerber is pregnant with her second child

Angelique Kerber has officially retired from tennis since the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and her defeat by Qinwen Zheng in the quarter-finals.

Since 2025, she has become an advisor to the women's section for the German Tennis Federation.

But this week, she's in the news for something more personal. Kerber announced on her Instagram account that she was pregnant with her second child.

She accompanied her post with a photo of her daughter Liana: "We're counting the days until someone special comes into our family".
