Keys-Tauson, Svitolina-Osaka and Doubles: Today's Schedule at the WTA 1000 in Montreal

After the first two women's quarterfinals, which saw Rybakina and Mboko advance to the semifinals, it's time for the last two matchups at this stage of the women's singles competition.
At midnight (French time), Madison Keys, the Australian Open winner earlier this season, will face Clara Tauson, who stunned Iga Swiatek in the previous round and was a finalist at the WTA 1000 in Dubai in February.
The two have faced each other only once on the WTA Tour, in the quarterfinals in Auckland last January. The Dane won in straight sets (6-4, 7-6) before going on to claim the title in New Zealand.
This time, a spot in the Montreal semifinals is at stake. The winner of this match will face the victor of the duel between Elina Svitolina and Naomi Osaka for a place in the final.
The Ukrainian, in great form this season, has yet to drop a set in the tournament, while the Japanese player battled her way into the quarterfinals, notably saving three match points against Liudmila Samsonova in the second round.
The former world No. 1, a four-time Grand Slam champion, holds the edge in their head-to-head record, currently leading 4-3.
Before these two singles matches, starting at 4 PM local time, the second doubles semifinal will take place between the pairs Taylor Townsend/Zhang Shuai and Caroline Dolehide/Sofia Kenin.
This will be a rematch of last week's Washington final. The winning duo will face the American pair of Coco Gauff and McCartney Kessler, who secured their spot in a thrilling match the day before against Olga Danilovic and Hsieh Su-wei (5-7, 6-4, 10-6).
