Kouamé Works with Simon to Prepare for the Madrid Masters 1000
Moïse Kouamé will be in the spotlight in a week at the Madrid Masters 1000. The 16-year-old Frenchman, considered one of the future hopes of French tennis, will indeed take part in his first ATP tournament.
The youngest player in the Top 1000 (ranked 969th in the world) will receive a wild card for the Madrid tournament thanks to the IMG agency, of which he is a part. The agency regularly invites young players to the events it organizes, as was the case with Alexandra Eala last month in Miami.
But in addition to this wild card, which will propel him against the world's best players, Kouamé has clearly strengthened his team in recent weeks, as Gilles Simon was spotted giving him advice during training this Thursday on one of the Roland-Garros courts.
While nothing has been officially confirmed regarding their collaboration, the former world No. 6 could continue to support Kouamé in his upcoming tournaments, particularly at the Madrid Masters 1000.
