Kyrgios Claims to Be Training for Roland-Garros, Leaving Doubt in the Air
While the list of players participating in the upcoming Roland-Garros has already been released—with Nick Kyrgios notably absent—the Australian nonetheless stated on his social media that he is training on the sidelines of the tournament.
He says: "Hey guys, a few days off after my birthday. I’m training and getting ready to head to Paris in about 3 weeks.
I really appreciated all the birthday messages—it’s almost impossible to reply to everyone, but I truly value the support and love from all my fans."
If Kyrgios is not on the main draw list, two options remain for him: either secure the wild-card reserved for an Australian player, to be awarded by his country’s Federation, or enter the qualifiers using a protected ranking.
