Kyrgios Withdraws from Wimbledon and Further Delays His Comeback
As Nick Kyrgios was preparing for the grass season, a period he particularly enjoys, the Australian announced on Tuesday that he would be withdrawing.
He stated on Instagram: "Just wanted to keep everyone updated, I’ve had a minor setback in my recovery, and unfortunately, I won’t be ready in time for the grass season.
I know how much you were looking forward to seeing me play, and I’m truly sorry to let you down. But this is just a small hurdle, and I’m already working hard to come back stronger than ever.
Thank you for your ongoing support—it means everything to me. See you soon."
As a result, Kyrgios will miss the tournaments in Stuttgart, Queen's, and Wimbledon.
