Last-minute change in Alcaraz's preparations for Australia

Last-minute change in Alcaraz's preparations for Australia

Carlos Alcaraz is currently in Spain, at the academy run by his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, to prepare for the start of the 2025 season and in particular the Australian Open, where he is aiming to win the title.

This first Grand Slam of the season has so far failed to please him, as he was eliminated in the quarter-finals this year by Alexander Zverev, and was forced to withdraw in 2023 following a muscle injury.

Alcaraz has chosen Jack Draper and Flavio Cobolli as his training partners to give him the best possible chance of success in 2025.

Except that Draper, injured during a recent training session, had to cancel his visit to Spain.

Cobolli will therefore be the only player present alongside the world No. 3, having already accompanied him during the 2023 preseason.

Carlos Alcaraz
3e, 7010 points
Jack Draper
18e, 2530 points
Flavio Cobolli
32e, 1512 points
