Laver Cup 2025: A Clash of Continents in San Francisco

The atmosphere in San Francisco promises to be electric. From September 19th to 21st, the Californian city becomes the stage for a legendary showdown between "Team Europe" and "Team World". This 2025 Laver Cup, with its novel formats, schedule adjustments for European fans, and above all, an unprecedented lineup.
Two legendary captains. On one side, Yannick Noah, the charismatic Frenchman, will lead Europe. On the other, American Andre Agassi takes command of Team World.
Team Europe will rely on its reliable players: Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Jakub Mensik, and the Italian surprise Flavio Cobolli.
Team World, on the other hand, consists of Taylor Fritz, Francisco Cerundolo, Reilly Opelka, Alex de Minaur, Alex Michelsen, and the Brazilian prodigy Joao Fonseca.
For those in Europe, matches will be played according to San Francisco time zone (9 hours behind France).
Here are the main sessions (French time):
Friday, September 19
10:00 PM: 2 singles
4:00 AM (overnight): 1 single + 1 double
Saturday, September 20
10:00 PM: 2 singles
4:00 AM: 1 single + 1 double
Sunday, September 21
9:00 PM: 1 double + up to 3 singles
Reminder: Matches are played best of 3 sets with a 10-point tiebreak in case of a tie. The points system increases each day (1 match = 1 point on Friday, 1 match = 2 points on Saturday, etc.). The first team to 13 points wins the Laver Cup. If 12-12 after the 12 matches, a deciding doubles duel in one set is played to break the tie.
All players must play at least one singles match during the first 2 days. Additionally, a player can play no more than 2 singles matches. For doubles matches, at least 4 players per team must compete, and a pair can only be selected once (except in the case of a 12-12 tie).
Regarding the prize money, each player receives a fixed bonus, calculated based on their ATP ranking after the French Open (+ $250,000 each in case of final victory).
