Lleyton Hewitt and his son Cruz continue the doubles adventure in Adelaide

A legendary father, a promising son, and a wild-card that could well write a new page in Australian tennis. Lleyton and Cruz Hewitt are about to take on a new challenge in Adelaide, between heritage and ambition.

Competing in doubles in Sydney this week, Lleyton Hewitt and his son Cruz continue their partnership by also appearing in the draw of the Adelaide Challenger.

The former world No. 1 and his son received a wild-card from the organizers and will start against their compatriots Jake Delaney and Li Tu.

In Sydney, the family duo had brilliantly passed the first round (6-0, 6-1) against the pair Jones/Marinkov, before losing in the quarterfinals to Calum Putergill and Dane Sweeny.

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
