From Thursday night to Friday, the ATP 250 Los Cabos quarterfinals took place.

The action began with Denis Shapovalov facing Tristan Schoolkate. The Canadian secured a comfortable victory with a score of 6-3, 6-2.

He will next meet Adam Walton in the semifinals, who defeated his compatriot James Duckworth in three sets.

Tournament favorite Andrey Rublev also emerged victorious, though not without difficulty, against Emilio Nava—an American player of Mexican descent.

After dropping the first set, the Russian bounced back to win 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. His next opponent will be the winner of the match between Aleksandar Kovacevic and Juan Pablo Ficovich.
