Mahut on Djokovic: "He hasn't yet managed to raise his level emotionally and mentally"
In comments reported by *L'Équipe*, Nicolas Mahut, now a consultant for Eurosport, spoke about Novak Djokovic after his early exit in Madrid against Matteo Arnaldi.
According to him, the Serbian will raise his game level, but it might not be enough: "I think Nole hasn’t yet managed to elevate his level emotionally and mentally, but he will certainly get there by Roland Garros.
He will undoubtedly be even better in Rome, already, in two weeks.
The problem is that if he isn’t among the top four seeds in Paris, he could be very exposed as early as the quarterfinals, and I don’t know if he would then have the necessary resources to string together those last three matches."
