Masarova decides to represent Switzerland again
Rebeka Masarova, winner of the junior French Open in 2016, has represented Spain since 2018 (her mother being Spanish), notably in the Billie Jean King Cup.
However, according to the WTA website, she will now represent Switzerland, her country of birth.
The former world No. 64 will have to compete in the Australian Open qualifiers, having fallen out of the top 100 during the second half of the 2024 season.
