Medvedev beats Marozsan and qualifies for the Almaty semifinals

Daniil Medvedev continues his excellent current form. He faced Fabian Marozsan this Friday in the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 in Almaty.

Despite a tight first set and 3 set points to save, it was the Russian who claimed the first set with a score of 7-5.

He broke the Hungarian right away in the second set before making a double break in the 5th game. He ultimately wins 7-5, 6-2 and will face James Duckworth in the semifinals.

A great opportunity for Medvedev, who is seeking confidence and victories in a rather favorable draw for him.
