Medvedev: "I am reluctant to change, but at the same time, it needs to be done"

Daniil Medvedev is gaining confidence lately thanks to good victories.
The most recent one was against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the second round in Dubai.
In a post-match press conference, the Russian discussed his game: "I am clearly more reluctant to change, especially when you reach the peak of your art.
And I've done it a few times already. You're a bit afraid to change. And at the same time, it needs to be done. But you have to find a balance.
If you change everything all at once, it won't work as well. So, it's a step-by-step process. I feel like I'm doing it all the time. In fact, throughout my career, I've changed things.
I change some of them. And maybe I'll regret it later, but not in a bad way, but in the sense that I shouldn't have done it and won't do it again.
There are things I continue to do. I like that, but I am also very reluctant to change."
